This is what the sleeve said:

"a few words: these tracks were recorded 16-25 december 2001 in the master bedroom of apartment #1108 on a Tascam 4-track that lattney's wife let him buy with tax rebate money that could have paid bills, and were originally released under the name "noise outfit," before "noise outfit" realised they were after a less organic sound, and so they are presented here as the second stripmine sleepwalkers release, which they should have been all along (because that organic sound is what we're going for) and by the way, "beauty" was recorded 2 april 2003 in the guest bedroom of lattney's house in rural southeastern arizona where coyotes try to wake his wife and daughters from their sleepa nd where he receives mail addressed [retracted] and emails sent to [retracted].

In truth, however, three of these people never existed. stripmine sleepwalkers was all me: Lattney B. Shane and his chain were real, though. Shane was my best friend in junior high and high school.
